As reported this morning, former Bears WR and current New York Giant, Allen Robinson, has been released by the Giants;

Allen Robinson was drafted by the Jaguars as their 2nd-round pick back in 2014. He was a top player during his time there, making the Pro Bowl in 2015 along with being named as the NFL receiving touchdowns co-leader in that same year.

Following the end of his rookie contract in 2018, Robinson signed with the Bears on a 3-year deal for $42 million.

Though Robinson was nowhere near as explosive as he was during the 2015 season, Robinson was still able to make an impact on this Bears team, especially during the 2019 season, where he had a total of 1,147 receiving yards for 7 touchdowns.

The Bears placed a franchise tag on Robinson ahead of the 2021 season, but his production declined that season.

Robinson then signed with the Rams ahead of the 2022 season, but unfortunately injuries and a decline in his game has made him unable to stay on a team long-term.

Robinson signed with the Giants back in May of this year, but was cut just before the beginning of the season.
