This weekend, the Los Angeles Rams are taking on the Chicago Bears in a game that will be pivotal for the latter. Caleb Williams and the Bears need a break. They are 1-2 and fans want to see Williams go out there and show that he can win a game off of the strength of his talent.
Something that has proven to be lucky for the Bears is an injury to Cooper Kupp. Kupp went down with an ankle injury in Week 2 and missed the Rams' game against the San Francisco 49ers. Heading into Week 4, many have wondered whether or not Kupp would be active. Well, now we have our answer. According to NBC Sports, Rams head coach Sean McVay has confirmed that Kupp is out.
This is a huge blow to the Rams, but it is obviously great news for the Bears, who are looking for all of the advantages they can get right now. Having said that, the Bears' defense has been more than solid so far this season, so it should be interesting to watch play out.
With a loss, Chicago would fall to 1-3 on the season, which would be a disaster. However, this is a development year for the team given the fact that they have a rookie QB trying to learn the ropes of the National Football League. Only time will tell whether or not the Bears can overcome hardship.
