Fields has gotten three starts to begin the year and he is 3-0. While the defense has carried in many of those games, Fields has looked amazing. Now, however, head coach Mike Tomlin is being asked whether or not Fields is the starter going forward. It was supposed to be Russell Wilson, but he has been injured. With Russ gearing up to come back, Tomlin is refusing to make his decision final. Instead, he is waiting until he has to make that call.
Only time will tell whether or not Wilson ever gets back onto the field. With Fields rolling, this could very well be the end of Wilson's career. He is injury prone, and he hasn't been the same in two seasons.
