Young explains that he was doing this gig before the NCAA allowed college athletes to make money from their own likeness. Because college sports take up most of athlete's time, it is hard to have a full time job. So, Young decided to do deliveries as a side hustle, just to make some extra money.
During his college days, Young played for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, for 3 seasons, but only got to start in his 2nd. Young finished college with a total of 8,356 passing yards, 87 touchdowns, and only 12 interceptions. He also finished with a starting team record of 23-4, and won the Heisman Trophy in 2021.
Young was then picked first in the 2023 draft by the Carolina Panthers, and predictions are already being made about him winning Rookie of the Year.
