Bears newest signing is 26 year old, 6'0" 230lb, four-year pro linebacker, Matthew Adams. Here are 5 things you need to know about him:
1. He has been a special teams stud. This last year Adams was 1st team all-pro special teams.
2. He likes to hit.One of the things about guys that like being on a kickoff is the fact that they usually like hitting. Adams is no different.
3. He can play inside or outside linebacker.The Colts used Adams as a plug-and-play backer. Adam was able to fill in wherever needed. In college, he played his first three years as an outside linebacker and in his senior year, he stepped up and started as the teams' middle linebacker.
4. He was listed in Sports Illustrated's article of "2017 Freaks List: the Top 40 College Football Workout Warriors".
5. He plays with a chip on his shoulder.Adams was suspended a game in college for a "squabble" in practice and was also threatened with suspension after allegedly throwing punches in a game against the Titans.
