In a lopsided Orange Bowl showdown on Saturday between the University of Georgia and Florida State University, the game's outcome became so one-sided that it prompted an unusual occurrence. Georgia's defensive lineman, Warren Brinson, decided to go live on Instagram during the game.
As evidenced by the screenshots captured during the live broadcast, Brinson opted to engage with social media while his Bulldogs effortlessly dismantled the No. 5 ranked Seminoles. The contest turned out to be an absolute domination, with the Bulldogs securing a resounding 63-3 victory over Florida State.
The Seminoles were notably missing several key players due to various factors, which may have contributed to their struggles in the game. Nevertheless, it was an unexpected and disappointing result for Florida State, especially considering they had won their first 13 games of the season.
Controversy had already surrounded the College Football Playoff (CFP) committee's decision to exclude the Seminoles from the four-team postseason tournament. The four teams that did qualify were the Michigan Wolverines, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns, and Alabama Crimson Tide. This decision had raised questions about what Florida State's postseason fate might have been had they been granted the opportunity to compete.
While the absence of key starters played a role in Florida State's defeat, the overwhelming loss marked a disheartening conclusion to what had otherwise been a promising season for the Seminoles.
