The Bears have placed CB Jaylon Johnson on IR this week. Even though he did not have the most consistent season, he still showed plenty of great things, including an excellent game where he could make many great plays against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Johnson had been listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills. He was eyeing another matchup with an elite receiver in Stefon Diggs after going against Philadelphia's A.J. Brown last weekend.
It's odd for a player to go from questionable one day to injured reserve the next, as cornerback Jaylon Johnson did leading up to the game, but coach Matt Eberflus said both sides were hoping he could play through a broken ring finger. Ultimately, he shelved Johnson because it was ��in the best interest of our organization.''
