Pringle enjoyed his best statistical year during his time with the Chiefs in 2021 hauling in 42 catches for 568 yards and 5 touchdowns. GM Ryan Poles obviously has ties with him since they both spend a few years together in Kansas City.
This marks Ryan Poles' second move today at wide receiver after signing Equanimeous St. Brown earlier.
Pringle is 28 years old. He signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chiefs in 2018 and he has impressed a lot even since he joined the team. He played in all 17 games in 2021 for the Chiefs and he was also the kickoff returner for them. He amassed 621 return yards.
He will not only bring his blazing speed and very consistent hands, but he will bring a veteran presence. He has played in a lot of huge playoffs games in his career. Pringle was a really underrated piece in the Chiefs' success and he was a true fan favorite in Kansas City. I believe he could be one in Chicago also.
I truly feel like he could have a crucial role in Luke Getsy's offense and he will compliment Darnell Mooney very nicely. This is the kind of move that could really help Justin Fields' development in year 2. I love this signing by Ryan Poles.
Here is a video of him showing off his insane athleticism:
