This news comes out after it was announced that QB Tyson Bagent is out of practice due to an illness.
Streveler entered NFL draft back in 2018, but after going undrafted, he signed with the CFL.
He signed with a CFL team - the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and stayed with them for 2 seasons. In 2019, during his last season with the Blue Bombers, Streveler was named as the rushing touchdowns co-leader, and won the Grey Cup.
After that season, Streveler decided to leave the CFL to once again pursue a career in the NFL.
In 2020, Streveler signed with the Cardinals. After the 2021 season, he signed with the Ravens practice squad and then the Dolphins practice squad, until signing to the active roster on the Jets in 2022.
Now, as a free agent once again, Streveler is looking to sign with the Bears in hopes of making the active roster.
