With that being said, the NFL draft is still very near. One position that we expect Ryan Poles to concentrate on during that draft is the offensive line. Well, Daniel Greenberg reported that the Bears have interviewed Central Michigan Luke Goedeke.
Goedeke is an amazing protect in my mind and he will definitely be available on day 2 of the draft. He is listed at 6"5 312 pounds. He has 25 career starts at right tackle during his two seasons as a starter at Central Michigan.
He began his college career at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as a tight end prior to transferring at Central Michigan and switching to offensive line in 2019.
Goedeke is a very athletic lineman that has the versatility to play both tackle positions. He shines in pass protection using a solid base, posture and firm back to sit down and push against the defender while staying light on his feet.
I believe he could be a great pickup in the 3rd round for the Bears and he could provide instant help in the trenches.
