Bears Head Coach Reveals Week 7 Game Status for Justin Fields after Thumb Injury

After leaving the game early in the 2nd half with a hand injury, Fields is now listed as doubtful to play next Sunday:

After being sacked in the 3rd quarter, Fields looked to be in pain and holding his wrist. It was then revealed that Fields had dislocated his thumb, but still needed more tests to figure out the severity.

Sources say that surgery is unlikely, but we will know more later this week.

With Fields listed as doubtful, there is a likely chance that undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent will be making his first career start against the Raiders next week.
