Bears Head Coach Shares Status for WR Chase Claypool, in Regards of Him Being apart of the Team or Not
After Bears WR Chase Claypool made comments that upset his coaches this past week, the team announced that he would be a healthy scratch for their week 4 matchup against the Broncos.
On that same day, it was revealed by NFL insider Jordan Schultz that the Bears were looking into trading Claypool for a 5th or 6th round pick.
Then, it was noticeable that Claypool was not at the game at all yesterday, and head coach Matt Eberflus told the media that Claypool was welcomed to come. However, other members of the organization explained to the media that Eberflus told Claypool to stay at home, exposing Eberflus for lying.
Today, while on ESPN1000, Eberflus said that Claypool will continue to be away from the team this week, as the Bears will be playing the Commanders this Thursday night:
"He is not going to be in the building this particular week on this short week. I can give you that."
