Bears legends on Speed Dial
A great bright spot that has recently gained traction is that HC Matt Eberflus is reaching out to former Chicago Bears. This is amazing news. Especially after the debacle between Chairman George McCaskey and former Bears' center Olin Kreutz. Flus mentioned how he can look down at his phone and he has names like Peanut Tillman, Brian Urlacher, Lance Briggs, Julius Peppers, and Dick Butkus. It has been confirmed that Flus has invited Peanut to attend Bears' practices. Hopefully, he can take time from his FBI job to help the young group of DBs work on their «Peanut Punch.»
But then you get to thinking, who would we love to see attend practices and help share their knowledge of the game. Of course, not everyone's skills are relevant in today's game, there won't be a Butkus clothesline tackle seminar. But to have a connection with heroes that have worn the blue and orange in the past would be an honor and learning moment for anyone. Here is a list of former Bears that I feel should be getting an invite:
