While I would not call this a full-on rebuild, this makes sense.
The current market for Mack would be pretty solid. Some say he may even be worth a late first-round pick. However, the most likely scenario would be a second-round pick paired up with a 4th or 5th.
Losing a player as good as mack would hurt, but this might just be the best move in the long haul.
