Bears TE Cole Kmet Joins Group of Top Names in Impressive List Recently Revealed
In a new stat revealed by Bears writer Brendan Sugrue, Bears tight end Cole Kmet has joined an impressive group of players in this new stat list:
As seen on the list, Kmet is placed at number 3 for the most receiving touchdowns for a tight end since 2022. Ahead of him are All-Pro TEs Travis Kelce and George Kittle.
Kmet, who was the Bears 2nd round pick in 2020, recently signed a four-year, $50 million contract extension with the team this past offseason, and it is starting to look like a great move.
Being featured on a short list like this proves how important he is to the Bears, even when the team is struggling.
Something that does go unnoticed though, is his blocking ability. Kmet has set up many of the big plays this season, all because of his blocking ability. Not every tight end is a great blocker, but Kmet is.
Kmet has been balling out this season, and he is starting to be seen as a top TE in the NFL.
