Bears Undrafted Rookie QB Expected to be Active Today, Fan Favourite is Finally Suiting Up

As revealed by insider Ian Rapoport, the Bears have decided to name undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent as the teams backup QB, moving Nathan Peterman to QB3:

Bagent went undrafted this past offseason, and signed with the Bears as a free agent. Bagent soon became a fan favourite after an impressive preseason.

Fans were angry to hear that Bagent would be named as the QB3 to begin the season, as most of us believe he deserves that QB2 spot.

Now, the day has finally come, and Bagent will be active and ready to play if he is needed.

The Bears will be facing off against the Broncos today, and if Fields is struggling, then we should expect to see Bagent play.
