Raiders DE Maxx Crosby has made it very clear that he wants interim HC Antonio Pierce to return as the official HC, but with many interview requests being made, Crosby knows this may not happen:

Crosby has requested to be traded away if the Raiders do not hire Pierce back, meaning Crosby may be in a new city for the 2024 season.
With this possible trade becoming known, there is a chance that the Bears could land Crosby.
The Raiders are in desperate need of a new QB for the 2024 season, meaning they would likely want to grab the first overall pick, which the Bears currently own.
The Raiders may pursue a trade offer with the Bears for the number 1 pick in exchange for Crosby. The Bears may also want to bring Pierce in and serve as the team's defensive coordinator, which is currently empty right now.
This would 1) make Crosby happy and be thrilled to be in Chicago with his coach, and 2) the Bears are in need of a strong defensive mind on their staff and that is what Pierce is known for.
