In a new ESPN article, writer Aaron Schatz shared how the Bears could end up acquiring Falcons Pro Bowl TE Kyle Pitts in exchange for Fields:
In the article, Schatz wrote:
As seen, Schatz believes that the Bears could end up trading away Fields to the Falcons in exchange for a package deal that includes Pitts.
In his rookie season, while playing with former MVP QB Matt Ryan, Pitts was named onto the PFWA All-Rookie Team and was also named as a Pro Bowler. However, after Ryan left the team, Pitts' performance began to decline. He has only played with mediocre QBs since, and has been unable to showcase his true talents.
The Falcons are in desperate need of acquiring a new QB, and if the Bears do end up drafting Caleb Williams in April, then they will not have any use for Fields and will look out for the best offer.
