After weeks of speculation, the Chicago Bears made it official early Monday morning. The Bears announced that they've parted ways with head coach John Fox. The team was 14-34 under Fox during his three seasons as head coach and are now 27-53 since letting Love Smith go back in 2012. General manager Ryan Pace will now lead the search for a new head coach and is expected to go in the direction of an offensive minded coach to help with promising young QB Mitch Trubisky, however Ian Rapoport of NFL Network mentioned that defensive coordinator Vic Fangio could get a look This year marked the first time the Bears went winless in their division since 1969 and was just another stat to add on to Fox's unsuccessful tenure. According to report Zach Zaidman, Fox told player's after the game that "nothing was easy in the NFL and tough times don't last, tough people do, and said the Bears room is full of tough guys".
