The incident occurred in the second quarter of the Browns' 37-20 victory on Thursday in Cleveland. Moore was injured during a play when quarterback Joe Flacco connected with him on a pass. Moore managed to gain some yardage but was brought down by Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley. After the tackle, Moore remained on the ground, lying on his back with his arms moving. He was then assisted off the field and taken to the hospital, where he stayed overnight.
In the game, Moore had five receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. The three-year veteran had accumulated 640 yards and two touchdowns on 59 catches throughout the season.
Coach Stefanski expressed relief that Moore is doing better and is now at home. Head injuries are always a cause for concern, and the team will continue to monitor his recovery.
The Browns, who secured a playoff spot with their win, are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in their regular-season finale on January 7 in Cincinnati.
