As reported by The Athletic's Vic Tafur, the Raiders are expected to be releasing former All-Pro CB Marcus Peters:
According to reports, Peters has been showcasing low energy during recent games, and his effort is no where near what the Raiders need.
Peters was drafted by the Chiefs back in 2015 as the teams first-round selection, and has since been displaying a Hall of Famer career.
He was named as the 2015 Defensive Rookie of the Year, 3 Pro Bowls, and a 5-time All-Pro.
Though Peters was once considered to be the top CB in the NFL, he has since declined in his performances.
Peters still has shown promise, so maybe a new system will help him get his old self back.
