BREAKING: The Cardinals have Traded away Former 1st-Rounder in a Shocking New Deal

As announced by the NFL, the Arizona Cardinals are trading LB Isaiah Simmons to the New York Giants, in exchange for a 7th round pick:

Yup, a 7th-rounder for the former 8th overall pick. Simmons was drafted by the Cardinals as the 8th overall pick in the 2020 draft after a standout college career.

Simmons has been nothing but good for the team. He is a tough linebacker who can stay healthy. He made some big plays for the team, and is still so youngso why is he being traded for a 7th rounder?

The only answer I can think of is that the Cardinals want to tank, because this trade makes no sense, unless there are things behind the scenes that we don't know about

Anyways, the Giants just secured themselves of a solid LB, as in just 50 games played this far in his career, Simmons has a total of 258 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, and 4 interceptions
