Can I be optimistic about our WR's?
Look, I understand that many believe that the Bears will be outright terrible this year and I can UNDERSTAND THAT POINT OF VIEW.
However, I don't believe that I fully agree with it. The reason is because of this, I believe we are better at the receiver position than we think. I am not saying that our receiver position is going to be a top ten unit, however I don't believe we are a bottom-five either. I don't believe that we are giving Mooney a fair shot. I think that the same guy we saw in his rookie year and even flashes of last year can develop into a greater threat this year. I believe that our WR draft pick V.Jones is a legitimate threat aside from an injury.
I also think that Luke Getsy will find ways to get him into the open field and cause him to be a very dangerous weapon. Byron Pringle? Yes he has been in the league for a while, however when watching his highlights, he looked to be a silent threat for the Chiefs last year. As for EQ St. Brown, we will see what he can be. I can only imagine, what if we are getting him when he is about to hit his stride? That would be awesome. But we will see! As we wait, enjoy these V.Jones highlights below.
