As we all know Rodgers, who turns 40 this season, was a tough opponent for the Chicago Bears.
The Bears celebrated his departure with a fun and fitting tweet:
During his time with the Packers, Rodgers scored 475 touchdowns, made 105 interceptions, and won the NFL's MVP award four times, including in the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Even though the trade was expected, it's still surprising to see the Packers say goodbye to their amazing player. The Jets hope Rodgers will help them become Super Bowl contenders.
Rodgers always enjoyed beating the Bears, with a 24-5 record against Chicago. He scored 64 touchdowns and made only 10 interceptions in those games, getting 6,965 passing yards.
Now he's off to New York to try and improve the Jets' luck. The Packers also sent this year's No. 15 NFL Draft pick and a fifth-round pick to the Jets. In return, they received this year's No. 13 pick, 2023 second and sixth-round picks, and a conditional pick in next year's draft, according to reports.
Lets just say we are all glad that Rodgers has left the division.
See ya!
