Chris Harris, the Titans' defensive pass game coordinator and cornerbacks coach, began both his playing and coaching journey in Chicago. Now, he's potentially on the brink of rejoining the organization this offseason.

According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Harris is set to undergo an interview for the role of defensive coordinator with the Chicago Bears this week. Throughout most of the 2023 season, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus shouldered the defensive coordinator responsibilities after Alan Williams resigned early in the regular season.

Harris, originally a sixth-round pick by the Bears in 2005, contributed to the team's efforts, participating in 25 games during his initial two seasons. He later returned to play another 19 games for the Bears before transitioning into a quality control coaching role in 2013. Subsequently, he embarked on coaching stints with the Chargers and Commanders before joining the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2023 season.

Additionally, Harris has interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive coordinator position.
