As revealed by Colin Cowherd, his sources claim that USC QB Caleb Williams and his father have reservations about him possibly playing for the Bears next year:
Cowherd explains that the reasoning for this is because the Bears are known for being awful at developing young and talented QBs:
I don't blame Williams' for feeling like this, as we are watching it happen right now. Bears QB Justin Fields was one of the top QBs in college football just a few years ago, and now, he is looking like one of the worst in the NFL.
The Bears are not able to allow their QBs to show off their real talent, and with their bad o-line, these QBs are getting crushed on the field. Williams understands that if he comes to Chicago, there is a chance his career will be over before it even starts.
If the Bears want to make another fresh start, and draft Williams, then they need to fire a lot of people, even the newcomers like Poles and Eberflus.
