"The Chicago Bears have been a hot topic for a couple of reasons the last couple of days and it's not stopping anytime soon. The Carson Wentz rumours, speculation about Mitch Trubisky and Allen Robinson, and even add in the Bears decision to keep head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace around, the Bears have been a hot topic. We saw Tarik Cohen caught up in some social media hot takes however it was nothing compared David Montgomery's Twitter game yesterday. In a Tweet that was later deleted by Montgomery he wrote "Playing in Chicago has been fun and I met some great people along the way!!"Unsurprisingly this had people absolutely freaking out thinking Montgomery was getting traded. Because of the absolute frenzy the Tweet set off, Montgomery deleted the Tweet and had to clarify. "Y'all took that completely wrong! It was not intended in the purpose of football! HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BALL! I love Chicago and I'm ready to be here for a long time and win a lot of games"Luckily it seems like it was just a misunderstanding. Check out the Tweets below:
