Dan Orlovsky Calls Out Justin Fields and Explains the Reason for his Sloppy Performance
It has been a rough 2 weeks for Bears fans. Week 1, the Bears lost 38-20, and then in week 2, they lost 27-17. There are a lot of people to blame for the sloppy performances, but right now, a lot of the blame is going towards QB Justin Fields.
When watching the Bears, Fields has not looked good, especially for a 3rd year QB. He is looking lost on the field, and simply making plays that have cost them the game.
While on "The Pat McAfee Show," former QB and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky explained what exactly we are seeing from Fields:
Orlovsky believes that Fields is struggling with his QB vision, and/or he has no trust in his o-line and receivers. He is making plays that seem like he does not see the field at all. He runs into trouble and gets sacked way too much. His throws are not on point, and simply looks like a bad QB.
This past offseason, it looked like Fields was about to have a career year, and so far, he is looking like a backup QB. He looks lost and confused on the field, and if these issues are not cleared up by week 3, then there is a chance he will be benched for week 4.
