One day after the hectic NFL trade deadline came to an end, it was announced that the Bears fired running backs coach David Walker. Reports indicate that Walker was fired due to workplace conduct, and that HR had to get involved.

This news came as a surprise to all Bears fans, as well as the players.

During a post-practice interview, Bears safety Eddie Jackson revealed that he was shocked by the sudden news:
