Elite cornerback expected to hit free agency

Ian Rapaport has reported that Patriots CB JC Jackson is expected to hit free agency instead of receiving the franchise tag.

Jackson had an elite 82.7 grade in 2021 (per Pro Football Focus) and had 9 interceptions in 2020. Safe to say he would be a great player to sign for the Bears who are in search of a cornerback. However, will he be too expensive of a signing? Will the front office decide to spend the money elsewhere? We are excited to find out.
