The Bears are likely to move on from their offensive staff with HC Matt Eberflus and OC Luke Getsy, and may even want a full change, possibly trading away QB Justin Fields.
On a recent episode of ESPN's Mina Kimes' show the "Mina Kimes Show with Lenny," Kimes spoke about possible destinations for Fields if the team does decide to trade him:
As heard, Falcons are a likely spot, but Kimes then throws in the possibly of the Patriots. She thinks the Patriots could give away their 3rd round pick in exchange for Fields, as the QB situation in New England is currently a mess.
Though her co-host of the episode former player Domonique Foxworth sees Fields in New England as highly unlikely, I see this as a being a good fit. The Patriots are in need of a new QB, and though Belichick is not used to mobile QBs, this may be a good change.
Kimes then comes back to the Falcons, and says that this makes the most sense. Fields is from Atlanta, and this team has a young and bright future. This system works for a mobile QB, and Fields could make a perfect fit.
