Jaylon Johnson of the Bears recreated Randy Moss' iconic mooning celebration during Monday night's game in Minnesota.
On Monday night in Minnesota, following an interception by Bears defensive back Jaylon Johnson, he dashed into the end zone to pay homage to the legendary Vikings player Randy Moss by recreating Moss' iconic mooning gesture. Although it went relatively unnoticed at the time, Johnson later confirmed during an interview on 670 The Score in Chicago that he had deliberately done it as a tribute to Moss. Moss had famously mooned Packers fans during a playoff game at Lambeau Field in January 2005, which had drawn strong criticism from Joe Buck, who was the game's commentator at the time. Buck had vehemently condemned Moss' actions, saying, "That is a disgusting act by Randy Moss, and it's unfortunate that we had that on our air live. That is disgusting."
Interestingly, Joe Buck was also the commentator for Monday night's game, but the broadcast chose not to display Johnson's celebration, and Buck refrained from commenting on it.
