Former Bears 2nd-Round TE Eyeing a Contract with the Bills

As reported by NFL insider Tom Pelissero, former Bears tight end Adam Shaheen is currently working out with the Bills in hopes of signing with the team:

Shaheen was drafted by the Bears as the 45th overall pick in the 2017 draft. After a few seasons with the team, the Bears traded him to the Dolphins before the 2020 season.

Shaheen then signed a two-year deal with the Dolphins, but was then "supposed" to be traded to the Texans in 2022. However, after failing a physical, the trade was cancelled. After the cancelled trade, he was added to the Dolphins IR.

Now, he is hoping to sign a new contract and make the active roster with the Bills.
