Former Bears Wide Receiver has Signed with Division Rival

As recently announced by the teamthemselves, the Lions have signed free agent WR Daurice Fountain on a reserve/future contract:

Fountain was drafted by the Colts as their 5th-round selection in 2018, and stayed in Indianapolis until signing with the Chiefs ahead of the 2021 season.

Though he was apart of the Chiefs organization during 2021 season and a bit of the 2022 season, he was never activated for a game and remained on the practice squad.

After being released by the Chiefs during the 2022 season, Fountain signed with the Bears, and stayed on their practice squad until being released ahead of this past season.

Fountain then signed with the Lions shortly after, but also only remained on the practice squad. Though his contract with them expired recently, the Lions are bringing him back.
