Former Bears WR Chase Claypool Speaks on What Went Wrong During his Time in Chicago (Video)
The Bears traded for former Steelers WR Chase Claypool during the 2022 season. Not even one year later, Claypool was traded again, and this time it was to the Dolphins.
Claypool's time in Chicago was filled with disappointment, as Claypool's Bears career showcased; sloppy plays, lazy efforts, locker room drama, and negative words on his coaches. Oh, and don't forget about the losing records that was included.
When asked by a reporter about what went wrong during his time with the Bears, Claypool responded with:
"I think that when you lose a lot of games in a row, there's frustration, naturally. I think that's new for everybody. I'm sure from the top down. So I think just being excited getting some wins and stuff like that. I think that just comes naturally. And once you start winning, things start getting less frustrating obviously"

Claypool explains how a lot of the negative aspects during his time in Chicago was due to their losing record. He was frustrated, and I guess those emotions overpowered his on-field abilities.
