As reported by NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Ezekiel Elliott has signed a one-year, $6 million deal with the New England Patriots:
Elliott was drafted by the Cowboys back in 2016, and has spent the past 7 seasons with the organization. Due to financial reasons, as well as Elliot's declined performance, the Cowboys released him.
So far in Elliott's career, he is a 2-time All-Pro, a 3-time Pro Bowler, and a 2-time NFL rushing yards leader. He has a career total of 8,262 rushing yards, and a total of 80 touchdowns. Even though his career has declined, Elliott still knows how to make his way into the endzone.
The Patriots are going through a rebuild, and it looks like Elliott is apart of the new change.
