Former rookie of the year QB wants to join the Bears!
The Bears' current quarterback situation seems to be very stable. However, it's unclear who will be the 3rd QB on the depth chart. Justin Fields will clearly be our QB1 and he should be backed up by Trevor Siemian. After that, it's pretty wide open.
Robert Griffin III made his case that he should join the Bears on the Rich Eisen show.
Griffin also added:
I think he could be a great signing for Ryan Poles. Make no mistake about it, RG3 still has it. During a charity event last week, he ran a 40-yard dash for the «Run Rich Run» event hosted by Rich Eisen. His time? An impressive 4.48..
Griffin is only 32 and during his time with the Ravens proved to be a serviceable backup. He also plays a very similar game as Justin Fields does so he would be very comfortable in an offense built around a mobile QB.
At this point, he has also shown that he is an amazing presence in the locker room and I know for a fact that RG3 is a really great person that has an amazing character. I would want him on my team any day of the week!
