Armon Watts, a sixth-round draft pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2019, started his rookie season strong, appearing in seven games with one start. Over the next three years, he played in 40 games and had 10 starts, with his breakout season in 2021, recording 5.0 sacks and 46 tackles. In total, Watts had 90 tackles, 13 quarterback hits, 7.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one pass defensed during his time with the Vikings.
However, in 2022, Watts failed to make the Vikings' roster and was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Bears. In his one season in Chicago, he played in 17 games with 12 starts, recording 35 tackles, four of which were for loss, and one sack.
