A six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro, Johnson finished his illustrious career with 766 receptions for 11,059 yards and 67 touchdown catches.
Post-retirement, Johnson has maintained his outstanding physical fitness, but he's never pursued a return to the league. Instead, he dedicates his time to working out, enjoying life, and indulging in his undeniable love for McDonald's.
Johnson has long expressed his affection for McDonald's, revealing that it's been a lifelong staple for him. He credits the fast-food chain with supporting him during his NFL career, reminiscing about his childhood when McDonald's was the only food he could afford.
"Burgers were 50 cents," Johnson recalled in an interview with GQ Sports. "Fries were 20 cents. It was all we could afford when I was a kid." He attributes his dominance in every field of his life, even from kindergarten, to the nourishment he received from McDonald's. "When I ate McDonald's, I never got hurt," Johnson added.
Chad's attachment to McDonald's goes beyond nostalgia. He's admitted to taking every first date to the restaurant, working out while eating its food, and even having it delivered to him in VIP areas of nightclubs. He fondly reflected on the brand's significance in his life during an appearance on the "I Am Athlete" podcast, asking co-host Brandon Marshall, "You think this lifestyle provided itself?"
Chad Johnson may have left the NFL, but he's never left behind his love for McDonald's. The fast-food chain has been a constant companion in his life, from his early days when it was all he could afford to his high-flying days as an NFL star.
