Girl on TikTok accused LB Roquan Smith of rape
Boy Oh Boy, this is a hard subject. I will try to be as neutral as possible and only share the information we have. I will let you readers make your own decisions on what you think of this situation.
First of all, a girl on Tiktok named "Monsterqueef_", made a video on a Tiktok trend accusing people of rape. This one was made towards Bears superstar LB Roquan Smith. Here is the video:
We can clearly see that the player wearing the #3 is without a doubt Roquan.
Since this video blew up on Twitter, the Tiktok account was deleted. However, what surprised me a little is that Roquan Smith also deactivated his Twitter account. Smith has always been very active on Twitter and uses it multiple times a day.
This girl accusing Roquan Smith is currently 18 years old and he is 25. She claims this happened when she was 15. She would have been a freshman in high school and he would be 22 years old and a rookie in the NFL.
As for what I believe...
I don't think we need to completely discredit this girl. If this is true, she deserves help and this would be a terrible act by Smith. But, if you flip the script and this is completely made up, this would be a terrible act on her part. We have seen multiple sad examples of both scenarios, unfortunately...
With that being said, I am 100% taking the wait-and-see approach to this one.
The Tik Tok makes this seem super sketchy and a little "clout chasey." Let's say this was true, do you think making a TikTok about it would be the best way to tell it?
