It is currently 'Prediction Week' on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football,' and the squad have revealed their Offesnive Rookie of the Year predictions:
As seen in the tweet, none of the hosts predicted a Bears player, but Peter Schrager predicts a division rival, Lions rookie Jahmyr Gibbs.
When looking at the Bears rookies, I can understand why no Bear was picked. The bears first-round pick is offensive tackle Darnell Wright, and even if he has a legendary year, he won't win. Since the beginning of this award back in the 1960's, only receivers, running backs, and quarterbacks have won, so Wright is out of the running.
However, I know this is a long shot, but I can see Bears rookie WR Tyler Scott having himself an impressive year, and shocking the NFL. Scott has some superhuman speed, which he showed from the jump. Scott can also catch the ball very well, and I am expecting him to be scoring many touchdowns this season.
Though new Bears addition WR DJ Moore will be Justin Fields' WR1, I will not be surprised if Scott is the WR2, and makes other teams learn his name quickly.
Though it is a long shot, I am casting my Offensive Rookie of the Year vote on WR Tyler Scott.
