Before the NFL draft this offseason, the Bears traded away the number 1 overall pick in exchange for Panthers WR DJ Moore. The Panthers then used their first pick on QB Bryce Young.

Young has looked bad so far, as the Panthers are currently 1-7, and he has thrown only 8 touchdowns with 7 interceptions.

When talking about regret, I am not referring to Young, but rather to QB CJ Stroud.

With the second pick in the draft, the Texans drafted Stroud, and so far, he is looking like a star, especially after Sunday's game.

In the Texans win against the Buccaneers, Stroud finished the game going 30/42, throwing for 470 yards, along with 5 passing touchdowns.

In 8 games, Stroud has thrown for 14 touchdowns, with only 1 interception. This guy is the real deal, and someone every team wants as their QB.

When looking at the Bears, I see a team who is desperate for change. I think Justin Fields can become an elite QB, but I don't know if this Bears system is right for him.

Also, I love having DJ Moore on this team, but he is not changing outcomes the way a QB does. Moore thrives with a good QB, but if the system is not right, then the team will be wasting away Moore's talent.

Looking back, I feel like if the Bears kept their first overall pick and drafted Stroud, then this team would be in a different position as of now.
