Though there has been no confirmation yet, it is rumored that the Bears may be interested in hiring Seahawks QB coach Greg Olson as their new OC:
Olson started his coaching career back in 1987 as a graduate assistant coach at Washington State. He has since moved around to several different teams, serving as a QB coach, TE coach, OC, and more!
Olson landed in Chicago back in 2003 and severed as the Bears QB coach, but only lasted one season with the team.
Since then, he has grown into a respectable coach who has helped various teams build an impressive offense.
He just finished his first year with the Seahawks as the teams QB coach, and though they were unsuccessful in making the playoffs, he helped both Geno Smith and Drew Lock excel in many games.
If Olson is interested in coming back to Chicago over 20 years later, then the Bears should definitely at least interview him and see where things go from there.
