As seen, Daniel said that he is available for this position.
Daniel first entered the NFL back in 2009 after going undrafted. Since then, he has bounced around to many different teams, finding himself in Chicago for the 2018 and 2019 season.
Those seasons were his best yet, as he made 3 total starts, throwing for 3 touchdowns each season. Though he was clearly not a great QB, he offered a lot as a backup and a teammate.
Daniel retired from the NFL back in September of 2023, but has stayed close to the game.
All season long, Daniel has been breaking down game-tape on many different teams, especially the Bears.
He has been studying this offense, but has put an emphasis on QB Justin Fields.
Daniel showcases a full breakdown of Fields' games, elaborating on his footwork, throwing motions, and field vision. Daniel understands what Fields needs as a player.
Though Daniel has yet to coach, he would make a great addition to this team. He understands the game of a QB better then many, and with all the time he has spent studying Fields, he would probably be the best coach for him.
