Kramer, Miller, Orton, Grossman, Cutler, McCown, Trubisky, and now Fields. With Justin going into his second season with the Bears you have to wonder if they are going to give him time to develop and if that time is enough. A glaring misstep in the Trubisky's days was not letting him ride the bench and learn from the elder QB's his first year.
Whereas with Cutler, we let him overstay his welcome to the point where we laughed when he signed with the Dolphins. So where do we draw that line with Fields? Chicago's offense always seems to be missing one piece, and we need a QB to pull those pieces together to make us competitive. With the right coaching staff and good support, I think Fields can be really strong for us going forward. Now it is up to the front office to supply him with viable weapons to get the job done. With this year's switch-ups in the front office, it's up in the air if the Bears will fly this year or continue clawing at the NFC North standings.
