Injury News: Bears HC Reveals Likely Game Status for Justin Fields Ahead of Chargers SNF Matchup

After suffering a thumb injury in week 6, Bears QB Justin Fields has been sidelined and unable to practice.

Since the injury, Fields has been listed as "doubtful," and had to miss week 7.

Ahead of next week's SNF matchup against the Chargers, Bears head coach Matt Eberflus revealed an early update on what to expect in regards to Fields playing:

As tweeted by Bears insider Josh Schrock, Eberflus said that Fields is still listed as "doubtful," and will most likely not be stepping onto the field next Sunday.

Tyson Bagent will most likely be starting once again for the team, and has hopes of leading the Bears to another victory.
