Insider Suggests Michigan HC Jim Harbaugh Faces Potential Suspension for Majority of 2024 Season
Insider Bruce Feldman has suggested that Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, may face a suspension that could cover much of the 2024 NCAA season.
During an appearance on FOX Sports' "Big Noon Kickoff," Feldman mentioned that the NCAA might impose a significant suspension on the 59-year-old coach for the next season. Harbaugh is currently serving a three-game suspension due to in-person scouting violations and is also under scrutiny for alleged sign-stealing by the Wolverines. Amidst these issues, there's increasing chatter about Harbaugh's potential move back to the NFL, and a lengthy suspension in 2024 might just push the ex-San Francisco 49ers coach in that direction.
Should Harbaugh become available, it's expected that there would be a strong demand for his services in the NFL.
As for the Wolverines, who are presently the No. 3 ranked team nationally, they are set to play the Maryland Terrapins today. Their regular season will conclude with a crucial game at home against the Ohio State Buckeyes next Saturday.
