During his interview, Doubs was asked if he sees a difference in Love, and he said no. Here is his response:
As many NFL fans know, Rodgers also came off the bench to start his career, similar to Love. Rodgers was playing under the legend, Brett Favre, and had to wait his turn to shine. For his first 3 seasons, Rodgers was Favre's backup, and used those years to prepare.
Similar to Love's draft story, Rodgers being picked in the 2005 draft also made headlines, as it was obvious he was coming to replace Favre. When Love was picked in 2020, Packers fans knew it was to replace Rodgers, as they have seen this kind of show before.
Rodgers went on to have a Hall of Fame career, and an (maybe) even better career then Favre. Could we see this with Love? Love has only started 1 game so far in his career, so we can't say much. But, if the Packers can keep this whole "backup QB being a star" streak going, then we may have a future Hall of Famer right here, and Doubs could be seeing into the future!
