Ever since the Detroit Lions drafted Jahmyr Gibbs in the 1st round of the 2023 draft, Gibbs is already liking it better than college.

During an interview after practice, Gibbs explained how different it is for him to be playing for the Lions, rather than legendary college coach Nick Saban. Gibbs said:
"Saban, he's probably hitting every day, full pads in the heat for two hours. Here, we get good work in, but they don't try to kill us"

The rookie RB played for Alabama for only one season in 2022, and he feels like his coach, Nick Saban, pushed his players too much. For a guy in the NFL to be saying this about his former coach, could there be issues in Alabama?
The NFL is meant to be the place where players are being pushed the most, but is it really Alabama? And what does this say about the current NFL players who once played there? Are they the best in the NFL? Will they burn out quickly? Right now, many stars in the league played under Saban, and he is known as one of the best to do it.
Should the NCAA be looking into player safety? Or is pushing players too hard in college just the norm?
