Jaquan Brisker is back!
While most of the injury-related updates surrounding the Bears have been bad lately, we finally received some better news. Indeed, promising rookie safety Jaquan Brisker returned to practice on Wednesday.
Brisker made a smashing debut in the first preseason game with the Chiefs, practically causing an entire three-and-out himself.
"Everything's almost back to normal, so I'll be fine," he said.
Brisker didn't think the injury was serious at first.

"To be honest, I thought I was going to practice the same day," he said. "I was like just going in hoping I was going to speak to him for 30 seconds and walk right out, but they pulled me in there for a little longer, so I knew it was something big.
He was relieved to finally be able to put on his cleats and hop on the field.
"I felt good just being out there with the guys and putting my pads back on for the first time in a while," Brisker said, "just being out there, just feeling like a regular player, just going out there doing the regular routine instead of being inside all cooped up and things like that."
Bears HC Matt Eberflus told reporters that Brisker "looked good," "executed well today" and is "looking right on track" to play in Week 1. As for Brisker, he is very confident about his status...
"Oh yeah, definitely, I'll be back," Brisker said. "I feel like I'll be 120 percent by the time I'm back. I feel like I'm ahead of schedule, which I am. The doctor did a great job, and I'm just going to continue to take it one day at a time."
This is what we like to hear!!!
